Last year, our “Mulan 2009” production raised over $11,000, for the
Rainbow Society of Alberta http://www.rainbowsociety.ab.ca/ .  This
donation enabled two children to receive their wish. We would be
extremely happy to raise a similar amount of money or more, for the
Rainbow Society of Alberta, with our “Snow Queen” production

Volunteer Positions to be filled

Ticket sales are going very briskly.  If you haven't organized your seats yet, please do so quickly
to avoid disappointment.

We would like to thank all of the parents and dancers who have put in their effort & time to make
Snow Queen 2010 a success.  We are down to the final 10 days and all committees are full
steam ahead.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Cheryl Spinner, Recital Co-ordinator at:
cdspinner@shaw.ca

We would like to have enough assistance, to ensure that all volunteer parents have a chance to
watch their child dance in at least one performance!  In the past, we have had dedicated
volunteers forego their chance to watch their child in both shows, as they were an insufficient
number of volunteers.

Volunteers to help with ticket sales for our fundraiser that we have right now, helping us to
reach our goal of $10,000 for the Rainbow Society. This fundraiser has the potential to raise
over $4000 if all the tickets are sold. It is a raffle and the prize is a basket of wines and spirits
value of $500. We will be selling these tickets at Walmart, St Albert on Saturday Jan 23rd
between 10am and 2pm. If you are available to help sell raffle tickets on this day please email
me. Volunteers should be at least high school age as the prize is alcohol.

If you haven't volunteered yet, we still have the following available volunteer opportunities:

1.  Backstage Committee: 10 positions available

2.  Makeup & Hair Committee: 5 positions available

3.  Sponsorship Committee:  5 positions available

4.  Photo Day Committee:   5 positions available

5.  Advertising & Sponsorship Committee:  4 positions available

6.  Props Committee:  6

7.  General Volunteer Pool: unlimited

If you would like to volunteer, either contact
Sophia at sabainc@shaw.ca or Cheryl Spinner,
Recital Coordinator.  You can contact
Cheryl at cdspinner@shaw.ca or 780-458-9086 after
6:00 pm or on weekends.  We are looking forward to making the Snow Queen a huge success!
